TopoMiller automatically selects the best available data source for your region:

  1. USGS COG (10m) - Primary source for US regions, direct S3 access
  2. AWS Terrain Tiles (3-10m US, 30m Global) - High-quality fallback with global coverage
  3. AW3D30 (30m) - Worldwide coverage via OpenTopography API
  4. Google Elevation API - Reliable fallback with consistent global quality
